BOARDSTOCK 2023 has been scheduled for FEBUARY 25 & 26
Boardstock is Australias longest running professional wakeboard event, and now in its 17th consecutive year. Boardstock began in Penrith as a Cable/Double Up boat contest and has evolved over the years, undergoing many changes in formats and locations. In 2021 Boardstock moved to Bli Bli Wake Park, (after a number of years as a multi-park series) where it underwent a facelift and name change. Now known as “Boardstock-at-Bli Bli” it will remain here as a stand alone single event for the forseeable future.
Boardstock-at-Bli Bli in 2022 suffered cancellations and reschedules due to the flooding situation and Qld but eventually went ahead and was once again a great weekend and very successful! More than 120 riders competed across all age groups and the level of riding at times was truly eye-opening!
In 2023….With international borders now open and travel returning to the per Covid norm, we expect to see a number of internationals make the trek downunda!
THE EVENTS
The KING OF THE KICKERS Event is staged on the front lake with both kickers positioned on the right side of the cable, one before the motor tower and one after. Divisions will include Under 10 Boys and Girls (at reduced speed), Under 13 Boys and Girls, Under 17 Boys and Girls, Amateur Men and Women, and Pro Men and Women. Presentations will follow the completion of the event with a sausage sizzle/BBQ and music on the deck. King of the Kickers will start at 2pm on Saturday Febuary 25
The FEATURES ONLY event will be staged on the front lake using all available rails and kickers as well as some new and unique “lines” for the pros. Divisions will include Under 10 Boys and Girls (at slower speed), Under 13 Boys and Girls, Under 17 Boys and Girls, Amateur Men and Women, Wakeskate Pro, Pro Men and Women. Presentations followed the completion of the events. FEATURES ONLY will start at 8am Sunday Febuary 26
OFFICIAL PRACTISE SESSIONS
Bli Bli Wake Park will put aside set times for Official Boardstock Practise sessions, which will only be available to riders who have both entered and paid, and will not be open to the public. Official practise sessions will be free for to all entered and paid riders as part of the Boardstock entry. Riding at Bli Bli at any other time will be as per the Bli Bli standard rules and operating hours
